In my opinion, the WWW can be too much of a time-waster. However, sometimes I waste my time in such an entertaining way, that the cheering-up factor makes up for it. If you don't have 5 minutes to spend, this is the wrong page to look at - but you would not have chosen to come to an "entertainment" page then anyhow would you? ;-)
For now, let me just list my favorite URLs:
http://theDailyWTF.com/ (previously known as "Worse than Failure" previously known as "The Daily WTF") - many hilarious stories that illustrate dumb ideas/approaches in IT, e.g. "servers" in incredible surroundings, strange apps that need you to follow their mind, stupid users who ruin servers, tech support stories, or really distributed systems.
http://www.pythonchallenge.com/ - an amazing quiz (sequence of puzzles) which require a computer and some (not necessarily python) programming skills to solve
Caution!
This "quiz" is too much of a time-waster! The first levels are solved very quickly, but it takes more than a full day to get through it! (It's damn fun though.)
http://failblog.org/ - an above-average collection of funny WTF pictures (or videos), e.g. about really strange products, advertisements, or signs
http://www.realultimatepower.net/ The Official Ninja Webpage (don't miss the hatemail!)
The Best Page In The Universe by Maddox. (Actually, I guess he does not know about Ninjas yet, since he claims to be the most amazing superhero.) I like the kid's paintings reviews and of course the hatemail again.
Not really my daily favorites, but interesting pages:
Recently, I got my own crown to prove that I am a shit king.
Why's (poignant) Guide to Ruby - I am not so sure whether this is the right page to put it, since it is a serious (is it?) introduction into the Ruby programming language.
However, it is entertaining, it does take time to read through the book, and everybody claims that Ruby is fun, so I guess this is the right page to put the link on. :-)
"If teaching an individual to use a computer is bad, teaching someone to program one is worse." Computer Stupidities
The infinite cat project (fancy, cute cats-involving variant of the infinite recursion principle)

I especially like to watch live performances of stunning artists:
- Roxorloops is a great beatboxer, check out the two "french beatbox championship 2006" clips for example.
- This "Amazing Juggling Final" is really... amazing.
- The "Evolution of Dance" looks easy at first... but get's crazy after a while.
- Steve Ballmer is not really a "stunning artist", but.. somehow.. he is stunning. Watch him jumping and woooowing, sweating from saying "developers" or presenting Windows 1.0 (not as crazy as the first ones, but funny and historic).
