1. Where can I buy MOVIS?

   You can not (currently) buy MOVIS. MOVIS was a research-project started in 1994 and scheduled for 9 years. However, funding was cut in 1997, and very little work is currently being done. If you would like to contribute to MOVIS by lobbying the German Ministry of Science and Technology (BMBF), you might contact:

2. When can I buy MOVIS?

   It is hard to tell when MOVIS will be publicly available, if ever (compare ``Where can I buy MOVIS?''). The moment funding continues it will still be at least another 2 years before first beta-test versions are likely to appear. This would put it sometime after 2001. Sorry.

3. Where can I get images of MOVIS?

   Journalists often ask for images of MOVIS. There is at least one professional photograph sold by DPA that I know of. If, however, you're not willing to spend money on a professional photo, you might have a look into ftp://ftp.informatik.uni-freiburg.de/pub/movis/.
