Corrupted Stacvol.dsk.../ Flash drivers

Following recent thread, Just to advise that:

screen warnings on boot up are a bug in the PC3k BIOS and often do not
have any effect over the usability of the drive...

OK another Q - has anybody had a Stacvol dsk corrupt and not be able
to load up? I have this problem and have tried to reload on the laptop
using a small DOS formatted and Stackered drive, but no go.... Is
there are repair util anywhere?
