2 neue Windows-Rechner / 2 new Windows PCs

Hallo,

ab sofort werden die beiden Rechner kogspc21 und kogspc26 im Dual-Boot
Betrieb sowohl als Windows als auch als Linux-Rechner betrieben.  Das
hat verschiedene Konsequenzen:

1) WICHTIG: Wer einen der beiden Rechner von Linux nach Windows booten
            will "uberzeugt sich bitte _VORHER_, das au"ser ihm
            niemand auf den Rechnern eingeloggt ist.  Insbesondere die
            User utcke und root k"onnen andernfalls _sehr_ b"ose
            werden.

2) Wer sich remote auf einem der PCs einloggt, um z.B. Mozilla laufen
   zu lassen, sollte vielleicht eher einen der Rechner
   kogspc22-kogspc25 oder kogspc2 w"ahlen.

3) Accounts f"ur die Windows-Rechner gibt es bei Dieter (wir denken
   "uber eine Methode nach, die es uns erlauben w"urde, die gleichen
   Passworte auf Windows und Unix Rechnern zu benutzen, ohne dabei
   f"ur die Unix-Benutzer zu umst"andlich zu werden).

Hi,

starting immediately the two PCs kogspc21 and kogspc26 will be used as
dual-boot computers, running both Linux as well as Windows XP.  This
means:

1) IMPORTANT: if one of the computers is running Linux but you would
              like to use Windows, please make sure _BEFOREHAND_ that
              no one else is logged in remotely.  In particular the
              users utcke and root can get really upset otherwise!

2) If you like to log in remotely onto a PC to, e.g., run Mozilla, you
   might be better of choosing one of the computers kogspc22-kogspc25
   or kogspc2.

3) Currently you have to ask Dieter if you would like an account on a
   Windows-machine.  We are working on a setup which would let you use
   the same password on both Unix and Windows machine, but without
   inconveniencing Unix-User more than necessary.
