I've finally come around to trying this on a W95 Notebook (ThinkPad
360PE which I'm preparing for my kid-sister).  Iformated the card in
the Sharp, than plugged it into the ThinkPad.  The Card was recognised
(as Sandisk SDP) and the driver installed (without need for a CD), and
than the drive was readable as E:.  So I would _expect_ it to work on
Win2000 too, although I of course realise that this is an entirely
different OS...
