Great!  Of course this pretty much destroyed my illusion that I could
save energy by working from RAM instead of the Card :-)

There's one thing I do not understand though:

Thre's obviously something in your autoexec.bat or config.sys which
nearly halfs the power drain when idle (and LP off --- btw, what do
you use to switch LP on?).  Any idea what this could be?
