Ok, here's a different idea: There's a comm utility called zip (it
predates the compression program) which you should be able to install
from the PC onto your PC3K, and which is reported to be faster than
laplink in any case. The author is Eric Meyer, and it's shareware
($30), so don't forget to register if you should find it usefull...
