Yes, but I think Sandisk is offering an adapter for PCMCIA II. Which

So, to sum up: I can simply buy a box which contains everything
needed to connect a HDD to the PC3100 using the parallel-port?

That (ftp) would be usefull, I think, if only, to alert other users to
this possibility.
